Chelsea defense was only a shadow of their glorious days , as Manchester City players found then net four times at Stamford Bridge. The first goal scored by Tevez proved to be a real testimonial for how sloppy Chelsea defense was. The main central back Captain John Terry who has been under lot of pressure after being alleged off an affair with Wein Bridge's ex girl friend , made alot of mistakes that were evident at the end of the match with his side on the losing side. The regular left back Ashley Cole's absence was another problem that Chelsea faced. Malouda who was handed the left back role , wasn't that good enough.
The main problem that Chelsea now faces is the absence of key players due to injuries. The central defensive midfielder Essien's absence is quite obvious as his replacement Mikel Obi is no where near him. Also goal keeper Cech has been ruled out for one month concerns the Blues alot. The substitute shot stopper Hilario made some awful mistakes that saw ManCity score four times at Stamford Bridge.
